Discover the wonderful world of wild food on this amazing foraging experience with local foraging expert Jules Cooper and RibRide's head skipper Charles Harris. Travelling by RIB you will get the chance to learn all about the wonderful world of wild coastal food.

Cook fresh fish on an open fire, make fresh seaweed popcorn, sample Llanfairpwll Gin and discover the endless opportunities in coastal foraging...
Jules has been gathering food since she was little and will share her extensive knowledge with you, helping to teach you how to identify what is edible and how and when to harvest natural resources in a sustainable way.
The day will include a stop for lunch consisting of a seasonal picnic, made up of whatever is available at the time. Snacks may include pakoras, dips, pates and a shot of spring soup, a wild-flower salad, seaweed popcorn, a sea beet tortilla, dandelion muffins, thistle lemonade and floral teas.

About Jules
Jules Cooper lives on Anglesey and is guardian of a seven-acre smallholding and custodian to 5000 trees. Ever since she was little, she has been fascinated by nature and has been gathering wild food and medicine for as long as she can remember.
She is a strong advocate of sustainable harvesting from the seasonal wild larder and local landscape, believing it can help connect us deeper to our environment.
Since 2011 Jules has hosted events all over north Wales, including wild soup kitchens at festivals, wild food walks, wild women’s wellbeing gatherings, children’s foraging activities, as well as bespoke private events, including with RibRide.
