Founded in 2005 by Phil Scott and Tom Ashwell, RibRide operates within both the Adventure Tourism and Marine industries of north Wales. The company is based in Porthaethwy/Menai Bridge on Anglesey.

Freelance Tour Skipper (Seasonal)
May - September (with potential for additional work outside this time period)
Recruitment status: Open
Being a RibRide Tour Skipper involves more than just holding the right qualifications and driving RIBS. As a Tour Skipper you are responsible for the safety of all passengers and for providing an engaging and entertaining experience.
You will be responsible for all aspects of running our trips. This includes:
- Taking care of the vessel ensuring daily checks are completed
- Being responsible for passenger safety during the RIB experience
- Sharing stories about the history, wildlife and marine environment of the Strait
- Giving customers an enjoyable and memorable experience
- Cleaning the vessel at the end of the day and completed end of day procedures
- Reporting any issues

Criteria
Essential skills:
- RYA Advanced Powerboat commercially endorsed for passenger work. (All supporting tickets and qualifications must be current)
- The ability to talk to customers in a fun and engaging way.
Desirable skills:
- Full clean driving licence
- Tractor and trailer driving qualifications
- An ability to communicate well through the medium of Welsh and English
- A knowledge of Anglesey and the local area.
Bookings Team (Seasonal)
May - September (with potential for additional work outside this time period)
Recruitment status: Closed
Our bookings team is vital to the smooth day to day running of RibRide and its various activities, ensuring all our customers have an exceptional time.
This role is to provide additional cover and support, particularly during peak times and to cover holidays and periods of absence on a casual basis.
This includes;
- Taking bookings
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Customer check-in
- Liaising with skippers
- Answering the telephone
- Planning staff in relation to bookings
- End of day reporting

Tractor Driver / Yard Person (Seasonal)
July - August (with potential for additional work outside this time period)
Recruitment status: Closed
Porth Daniel Boat Yard is a small busy yard. During the summer months we require tractor drivers to launch and recover boats as well as providing help with a wide range of jobs in the yard. This is a very hands-on role and includes;
- Launch and recovery of customer boats
- Launch and recovery of RibRide tour boats
- Supporting our Chief Engineer with a wide range of boat maintenance jobs
- Keeping the yard tidy
